Dear Editor:

In behalf of my daughter Katrina, I am appealing for your kind generosity to grant her full scholarship in college.

My daughter is an Ateneo High School Tulong Dunong scholar andif not for this program she wouldn't have been in a good school as St Scholastica\'s Academy of Marikina.

She was accepted in the recent ACET but was not granted the scholarship. We have already submitted an appeal to the Office of Admission and Aid, and their response will be expected this April. But we can't expect a 100% positive response on this.

I just try to reach out on you, though, this matter is not in your programs. Am just hoping that you could help us.

Thank you.

Dear Jimmy:

Your website is elegant and clean - not rococo as in some websites.

I understand Apo Jim lives there now? My pre and postwar experiences involved the Paredeses ~ father Jess, mother and sisters through the annual play MARTIR SA GOLGOTHA (Passion Play by Fr Joseph Mulry SJ, translated into Tagalog ~ elegant Tagalog ~ by Soc Rodrigo.

My regards to Jim and, once again, let me congratulate you for this website. I am in Daly City, Northern California, with former Ateneo math teacher Teresito 'Chito' Laygo whom I see daily at our large shopping mall, Serramonte Mall.

Dear Jimmy:

I was finally able to visit the Ateneo website.

You deserve to be commended for the great work you have done. You have truly kept the Ateneo spirit alive in you, in spite of the fact that you are no longer the president of AAAA. Others would have just "disappeared."

I intend to publish the launching of the website in the December 2006 issue of the Philippine Tribune. I tried to send the above message in the "send email" portion of the website but was unsuccessful. You may please include the above message in the reader's page.
